Ford Kuga arriving in March

January 2012

Ford Kuga coming soon

The SUV segment of the Australian car market is set to receive an exciting new addition in March - the Ford TE Kuga.

Ford Australia has announced that the compact all-wheel drive will appear alongside the marque's Ford Territory and Ford Escape models as part of the 2012 line-up.

The compact SUV will be available in two varieties - the Ford Kuga Trend and the Ford Kuga Titanium - and will feature cruise control, keyless start and stop, follow-me-home lighting and a leather-wrapped steering wheel as standard.

Powered by a 2.5 litre five-cylinder turbo petrol engine, the car is already popular amongst European drivers, the manufacturer stated.

In addition, the Ford Kuga Titanium model will also include rain sensing wipers, leather-trimmed seats, automatic headlamps and dual-zone climate control.

Emergency brake assist and DSC with anti-rollover mitigation will be among the safety features, as well as front and side curtain airbag and ABS with electronic brake distribution and traction control.

Pricing for the Ford TE Kuga will be announced in February and the car will be available from Ford dealerships in late March 2012. You can also register your interest in the Ford Kuga, and we will be on touch when it arrives at Macarthur Ford.
