Ford Focus: Sporty Driving at Its Best

September 2010

The newest Ford Focus sedan 2011 has the sporty perks of the previous models plus more. When it comes to design, the new Ford Focus takes exudes a sleekness that is matched by performance. In fact, the model specialises in road handling through its responsive systems for a better grip of the road.
Ford Focus features excellent design from the inside out. The exterior has a sporty look and its interior delivers. The interior design has a visual appeal of luxury, comfort, and class. Older Ford Focus models give the driver a smooth ride. The new model does this as well but adds in a bit more of convenience and comfort. The interior lighting is even color-configurable so the driver may change it as he/she sees fit. A palette of seven colors can be chosen (Aqua, Blue, Green, Purple, White and Yellow).

Entertainment Features
When it comes to entertainment features, you can expect the best from this vehicle. It contains a fancy Sync system which allows you to operate mp3 players and Bluetooth-enabled phones via voice command. The Sync also allows you to get information on directions as to where to turn when going to your favorite restaurant through the stereo. This is now a standard feature in Ford Focus vehicles.

The Ford Focus also comes with a CD player and speed sensitive audio that is emitted by four speakers. Speed sensitive audio means the volume becomes affected by the car’s speed to avoid accidents and increase overall feel. If all this isn’t enough, a Premium Sound System is available for Ford Focus. It features a 190-watt system with the usual features plus four more speakers and an eight inch subwoofer for maximum bass effects.

Overall
While the 2011 model of the Ford Focus is impressive, it isn’t the best Ford has in store for this range. Some features were withheld for the 2012 model perhaps because many of them do not stack with the current configurations and settings of the 2011 model. Also, the engine available for all models within the range is only a 140 horsepower 2.0 liter 4 cylinder one.

A recent engine being developed is the Ecoboost engine. It boasts more power while emitting less CO2 and being more fuel economic by twenty (20) percent on both areas. It is very possible to have the Ecoboost engine available for the 2012 model as the Ford Company says it will soon be installed in their models.
